1. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your ShellCraft subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. When you cancel:
- Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle
- After the billing cycle ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan
- Your existing shells, data, and configurations are preserved
- You may not be able to create new shells if you exceed the Free plan limits
2. Subscription Refunds
Since ShellCraft provides immediate access to AI services upon payment, subscription refunds are handled as follows:
- Within 48 hours of first payment: If you subscribed for the first time and have not used the service significantly, you may request a full refund
- After 48 hours: Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount), contact us and we will issue a full refund
3. Credit Pack Refunds
One-time credit pack purchases are handled as follows:
- Unused credits: If you purchased a credit pack and have not used any of the credits, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase
- Partially used credits: Credit packs that have been partially consumed are non-refundable
- Purchase errors: If you were charged incorrectly, contact us for a full refund
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at alejo@quasar.ar with:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We will process eligible refund requests within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (MercadoPago or Paddle).
5. Service Disruptions
If ShellCraft experiences extended downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) that prevents you from using the Service, you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period.
6. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan (e.g., Pro to Starter), the change takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for downgrades.
7. Account Termination
If ShellCraft terminates your account due to Terms of Service violations, no refund will be issued. If we terminate your account for reasons other than policy violations, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the remaining billing period.
